1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They allow websites to remember information about you, recognize return visitors, track website usage, and provide personalized experiences. This policy also covers equivalent technologies such as local storage, which we use for the same purposes.

Types of cookies:

  • Session cookies: deleted when you close your browser
  • Persistent cookies: remain on your device for a set period
  • First-party cookies: set by tuteliq.ai
  • Third-party cookies: set by other services we use, such as analytics providers

2. Cookies we use

2.1 Essential cookies (always active)

These cookies are necessary for website functionality: keeping you logged in, preventing security attacks, providing basic functionality, and remembering your preferences. We do not require consent for essential cookies, in line with the GDPR exception for strictly necessary cookies.

2.3 Preference cookies (consent required)

These remember interface choices such as theme, language, dismissed banners and dashboard layout. They are only set with your consent.

2.4 Marketing and advertising cookies

Tuteliq does not currently use marketing, advertising, or remarketing cookies. We do not set Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, or any similar third-party advertising cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent through the cookie banner before any such cookie is set, and give you a clear way to opt out.

3. How cookies work

When you visit tuteliq.ai, essential cookies load automatically because the site cannot function without them. A cookie consent banner is then shown so you can accept or reject optional cookies. Your choice is stored in a cookie and respected on every later visit.

Your choices:

  • Accept all
  • Reject all
  • Accept only essential
  • Accept essential plus specific categories
  • View detailed cookie information

To revoke consent, use the Cookie settings button above or in the site footer at any time, clear cookies in your browser and revisit the site, or contact us as described in Section 7.

4. Third-party services

4.1 Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics

Used for website traffic analysis. Data collected can include your IP address (with anonymization enabled), device information, browser type, pages visited, time on site, and referrer source. See Google's Privacy Policy. Analytics is not loaded until you consent, and you can also opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

4.2 Stripe

Payment processing and fraud prevention on checkout and billing pages. Treated as essential on billing pages because payments cannot function without it.

4.3 Cloudflare

Bot mitigation and security tokens issued at the network edge. Treated as essential.

The full list of vendors that process data on our behalf is published on our subprocessors page.

5. Managing your cookies

On tuteliq.ai, open Cookie Settings from the button above or the site footer, review which categories are active, toggle each category on or off, and save your preferences. Your choice is stored on your device and applied on every later visit.

You can also manage cookies directly in your browser: Chrome (Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data), Firefox (Preferences → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data), Safari (Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data), or Edge (Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Cookies and other site data). Blocking all cookies may prevent sign-in and other functionality from working properly.

For third-party analytics opt-outs, see the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on or general industry opt-out pages such as aboutads.info/choices.

6. Cookie security

All our cookies use:

  • Secure flag (only transmitted over HTTPS)
  • HttpOnly flag where applicable (JavaScript cannot access them)
  • SameSite attribute (helps prevent CSRF)
  • Minimal data, with no sensitive information

We never store in cookies:

  • Payment information
  • Passwords
  • Encryption keys
  • Customer content

7. GDPR, ePrivacy and CCPA compliance

Essential cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure service. Analytics and preference cookies are set only with your explicit, opt-in consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, and you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

You have the right to know what cookies we use, to consent or reject them granularly, to withdraw consent at any time, to access your cookie data, and to request deletion of cookies. California residents have rights described in our CCPA disclosures, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; because we do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell or share personal information through cookies.

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Essential cookies remain necessary for functionality, but where a DNT signal is present, analytics cookies are not loaded unless you separately opt in through our cookie banner.

8. Contact and consent withdrawal

Cookie preferences: privacy@tuteliq.ai (response within 5 business days). Cookie issues: support@tuteliq.ai (response within 2 business days). Privacy concerns: dpo@tuteliq.ai (response within 10 business days).

To withdraw consent: use Cookie settings above, email privacy@tuteliq.ai, clear cookies in your browser, or block all cookies in your browser settings (note the site may not function properly without essential cookies).
