A documented-capability comparison against the three vendors most often considered alongside Tuteliq. Every column reflects what that vendor states in its own public documentation. Where something is not documented, we say so rather than guess.

Sources and methodology
Competitor cells are taken only from each vendor's public documentation, checked in October 2026. We do not publish latency or accuracy figures for other vendors, because we cannot verify them under their production conditions. Our own figures: typical end-to-end response of 1.1-1.5s on shared infrastructure, measured against Tuteliq production traffic in October 2026. Dedicated deployment removes the shared-tenancy and prompt-assembly overhead; our internal testing on dedicated hardware measured sub-400ms, and dedicated capacity is available for latency-sensitive deployments.

Based on publicly available documentation as of October 2026. Product capabilities change; check the vendor's current documentation before making a purchasing decision. Where Tuteliq genuinely pulls ahead
Four areas where the gap isn't a feature, it's the underlying design.
Built for child safety, not generic toxicity
Generic moderation APIs classify individual items. Tuteliq scores behavioural patterns across a conversation: grooming arcs, coercive control, and synthetic CSAM, the harms regulators actually ask about.
32 languages, culturally calibrated
Each language was tuned with native-speaker safety experts, not machine-translated. We publish which languages are stable and which are early access.
EU data residency by default, not on request
Mistral (Paris) and Whisper on Vertex AI EU, with EU-hosted infrastructure. Zero-retention is a contract clause, not a setting you have to find.
One platform, not a stack
Detection, age assurance, identity verification, and a moderator console behind a single integration. Same auth, same audit log, same invoice.
